X 16’ Coleman WeatherTec Cabin Tents. There
will be 5 students and one camp counselor in each
spacious tent. USMC Camp Pendleton at San Onofre,
California is a military R&R beach mostly
used by retired military and families of active
duty military. Our site is on the north end of
the beach away from any other groups. We set up
a full service camp site complete with a 20x20
enclosed kitchen, eating area, protected meeting
area, games and activity area, tent villages,
equipment storage and more.
Safety:
We take safety very seriously at our surf camps.
Lifeguards monitor the beaches where we surf each
day. Students wear bright rashguards so they are
easily visible and identifiable with the group.
The student to counselor ratio in the water is
a maximum of 5 students per counselor. Our surf
instructors are Red Cross certified in CPR and
lifesaving techniques, very strong swimmers/surfers
and have many years of ocean experience. All beginners
use high quality soft boards and surf in shallow
water. Each individual student is assigned to
a group of five students and to one counselor.
That counselor is responsible for supervising
their group 24 hours per day for the duration
of the camp. Please call us with any concerns.
